Global House Price Index

The Global House Price Index tracks the movement of mainstream residential prices across 56 countries and territories worldwide. The index tracks nominal prices in local currency.

The pandemic-induced housing boom continues with prices rising by 9.2% on average across 55 countries and territories in the year to June 2021.  

Knight Frank’s Global House Price Index, a tool for benchmarking average prices across 56 countries and territories, increased 7.3% in the year to March 2021.

Prices increased by 5.6% on average in 2020, up from 5.3% in 2019
